God, I, Ego /Tomohito Wakui TERRADA ART COMPLEXでグッときた展示がこちら。なんだかわからないまま行ったけど、こんな展示が無料で観られるなんてすごい。 This is the exhibit at TERRADA ART COMPLEX that really caught my eye. I went without really knowing what it was about, but it's amazing that you can see an exhibit like this for free. #東京 #天王洲アイル #美術館

今回の東京出張で、行きたかった美術館をいっぱい回ってきました。まずは会合のある会場から近かった、天王洲アイルにあるWHAT MUSEUMの建築倉庫とTERRADA ART COMPLEX 。ここを運営する寺田倉庫というのは、倉庫街をアートの街に転換したとんでもない会社らしい。WHAT MUSEUMは撮影不可の建築の模型も多く展示されていて、勢いで行った割にめちゃくちゃ良かった。倉庫を改装したTERRADA ART COMPLEXでは、様々なアーティストがアトリエを無料公開していたりする。ついギリギリまで滞在してしまい、会合には全力ダッシュで向かいました💦 During my recent business trip to Tokyo, I managed to visit many museums I'd wanted to see. First, I went to WHAT MUSEUM, an architectural warehouse, and TERRADA ART COMPLEX in Tennozu Isle, which were close to the venue of my meeting. Apparently, Terada Warehouse, the company that runs these places, is an incredible company that transformed a warehouse district into an art hub. WHAT MUSEUM had many architectural models on display that weren't allowed to be photographed, and it was surprisingly good considering I went on a whim. At TERRADA ART COMPLEX, a renovated warehouse, various artists open their studios to the public for free. I ended up staying until the very last minute and had to sprint to my meeting! #東京 #天王洲アイル #美術館

出張で品川プリンスに泊まったので、アラフォー1人で行ってきました笑。東京の主力水族館っていうとここなのかな？あとは池袋サンシャインと新入りがすみだ水族館？ I was staying at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel for a business trip, so I went there alone as a 40s, lol. Is this the main aquarium in Tokyo? Besides that, there's Ikebukuro Sunshine Aquarium and the newer Sumida Aquarium? #東京 #水族館

Since I had some time, I took a stroll near the BIWAKO monument in Nagisa Park. It was still a bit chilly. For dinner, I went to Paciocone, which has delicious fresh pasta and pizza. #滋賀 #琵琶湖

琵琶湖博物館30周年記念で、1日だけのナイトミュージアムが開かれました。絶対混むやんと思っていたら案の定。でも入れて良かったです。夜の水族館も独特の雰囲気で、真っ暗の水槽を動くチョウザメとか、写真や動画には残らない感動もありました。 To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Lake Biwa Museum, a one-day-only night museum event was held. I knew it would be crowded, and sure enough, it was. But I'm glad I got in. The aquarium at night had a unique atmosphere, and there were moments that couldn't be captured in photos or videos, like the sturgeon moving around in the pitch-black tanks. #滋賀 #博物館 #ナイトミュージアム

新卒の同期達と行って以来10年以上ぶりの箱根彫刻の森美術館は、ナゾトキもあって子供達も楽しく鑑賞してくれた。そしてこの後、ここと対になっている美ヶ原高原美術館にも行くことになる。それはまた、多分長くなるであろう長野編にて(^^) It had been over 10 years since I last visited the Hakone Open-Air Museum with my colleagues from graduating from university. The children enjoyed the museum, especially with the puzzle-solving activity. After this, we were going to visit the Utsukushigahara Highland Museum, which is paired with the Hakone Open-Air Museum. I'll write about that in the Nagano section, which will probably be quite long. #箱根 #美術館

箱根神社は芦ノ湖の畔にある神社で、ゆっくり散策を楽しみながら参拝できる。湖の上にたつ平和の鳥居が印象的。 Hakone Shrine is located on the shores of Lake Ashino, and visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll while paying their respects. The torii gate of peace standing on the lake is particularly impressive. #箱根 #観光

六波羅蜜寺の節分追儺式。土蜘蛛を退治する追儺式と、福豆まきが行われます。すごい良い位置で見させていただいた。 Setsubun Oinashiki ceremony at Rokuharamitsu-ji Temple. The ceremony to defeat the Tsuchigumo spider and the throwing of lucky beans are held. I was able to watch it from a great vantage point. #京都 #節分 #観光

The journey there by cable car, the mackerel sushi and Hashirii mochi at the soba restaurant at the foot of the mountain, and other attractions are very charming. #京都 #神社

MoMAK # WhereDoWeStand?-Art in Our Time 会期終了までにどうしても行きたかったので、誕生日に家族に付き合ってもらったけど、現代アートって時々意味がわからん。作品リストを最初に入手し損ねて、いきなり作品がどーんと押し寄せてきたので、追いかけるのがとても難しかった。時間ができたらゆっくり図録で見よう。 I really wanted to go before the exhibition ended, so I asked my family to accompany me on my birthday, but sometimes contemporary art is hard to understand. I missed getting a list of the works at first, and the works just came pouring in, making it very difficult to keep up. I'll take my time and look at the catalogue when I have time. #京都 #美術館
