one of the hardest parts of learning japanese isn’t studying… it’s actually speaking. i’m currently studying for the JLPT N3, but speaking is still the skill i struggle with the most. this conversation was completely off the cuff. no script, no practicing beforehand, no planning what i wanted to say. if i’m being honest, i almost didn’t post this because my japanese is choppy, i make mistakes, and there are plenty of moments where i’m searching for words. i even cut out some of the longer pauses because nobody wants to watch me think for 30 seconds 😅 but this is what language learning actually looks like. it’s awkward, frustrating, and sometimes embarrassing. the only way to get better is to keep speaking anyway. if you’re learning japanese too, what’s been harder for you: studying or speaking? #learnjapanese #japanlife #日本語勉強中 #日本語学習 #livinginjapan
