Last weekend I visited 📍Tsuchiura, Ibaraki. I CANNOT believe this place is just 1 hour by train from Tokyo Station and no one talks about it. I was especially blown away by the hotel, Hoshino Beb5 Tsuchiura, which was conveniently located IN the station! This is one of the COOLEST non-ryokan hotels I’ve ever stayed in Japan. It was comfortable, stylish, and surprisingly super affordable.
