Guys, I’ll start posting again once I’m fully recovered. I’ve been feeling sick lately, and it’s still hard for me to stay on my phone for long periods. I also can’t edit videos yet.😭😅 I’ll make it up to you all once I’m completely better. I hope you understand. 🙇🏻♀️ #japan #japandiaries #japantiktok #toyama #japantravel
❣️SAVE THE DATE One of my favorite festivals in aichi.🤭 The Miya Festival in Gamagori, Aichi, is a historic two-day event (traditionally mid-October) famous for the "Kaichu Togyo" (sea-crossing parade), where men drag massive, decorated floats into the ocean, typically held on the 3rd or 4th weekend. The 2026 festival will likely feature this, along with traditional dances at Yatsurugi Shrine. Key Details for 2026 Likely Date: Third or Fourth weekend of October 2026 (based on typical scheduling). Location: Yatsurugi Shrine and nearby beaches (Miya-cho, Gamagori-shi).Main Event: "Kaichu Togyo" (4 large floats pulled into the sea), usually on Sunday. 🎍🎏🇯🇵 Note: Specific 2026 dates are usually confirmed by organizers closer to the time, but the festival falls on the 3rd or 4th weekend of October based on historical schedules.🎏 📍〒443-0021 139 Nanaho, Miya-cho, Gamagori-shi, Aichi (Yatsurugi Jinja Shrine) Place: Yatsurugi Jinja Shrine #japan #japandiaries #japaneseculture #japantiktok #hiddenjapan
Windows down, mountains all around, feeling small in the best way in the Hida Mountains. 🏔️ Every curve of the road reveals another masterpiece. Every turn feels unreal. Views like this remind me how much there is to be thankful for. 🤍🙏🏼✨ #japan #japandiaries #hakuba #japantravel #nagano
Toyama is absolutely breathtaking… the endless fields of rapeseed flowers 🌼 with the majestic Japanese Alps standing tall in the background. Pure perfection 🥹✨ I’m honestly in awe. A bloom even Muzan Kibutsuji fears. Where I stand safe, beyond even his reach. 🪻💫 🟣TSUSHIMA WISTERIA LIGHT UP 💡 📅 Festival period: April 15 – April 29, 2026 🪻Night illumination (light-up): 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM every evening during the festival So if you’re going for that magical “Demon Slayer wisteria” vibe, the best time is right after sunset around 6:30–9:00 PM when the whole trellis glows purple and feels super otherworldly.🤭✨ #japan #japandiaries #demonslayer #wisteria #japantravel
On our way to Matsumoto, we happened to come across a beautiful garden filled with blooming shibazakura 🌸 The scenery was truly breathtaking, with vibrant colors stretching across the landscape like a natural tapestry. Unfortunately, I’m unable to recall the exact location 😅 but discovering it by chance made the experience all the more memorable. But don’t worry—I do have a perfect place in mind to share with you. One of the most beautiful shibazakura gardens in Gifu is the Kunita Family Shibazakura Garden. It’s truly stunning and well worth a visit 🌿✨ ❣️Kunita Family Shibazakura 📍 2833 Meihookuzumi, Gujo, Gifu 501-4304, Japan #japan #japandiaries #hiddenjapan #springvibes #japannature

📍KOSEMA ONTAKE JINJA 🌺 We came thinking it was the perfect time for the azaleas… but they were already fading when we arrived 😂😭 why does everything bloom so fast now 🙁 this year’s timing was impossible. EVENT ENDED ❣️ Ornately decorated parade floats festoon Asuke's historic townscape The Asuke Spring Festival, otherwise known as the Annual Asuke Jinja Shrine Festival or Shigenori Festival is held by Asuke Jinja Shrine, located to the east of Asuke Hachimangu Shrine. The festival sings praise to Asuke Jiro Shigenori, a local hero who fought feircely for Emperor Godaigo of the Southern Court in 1331 at Kyoto's Mt. Kasagi. The festival was originally held on May 3 when Shigenori died in battle, but is currently held on the second Sunday of April and the preceding day when the area's cherry blossoms come into bloom.🏵️🎍🎋 📍 〒444-2424 12 Miyanoato, Asuke-cho, Toyota-shi, Aichi #japan #japandiaries #japaneseculture #japantravel #japanfestival
❣️Golden Week is almost here🤗 Do you already have plans? 🌸✨ Aside from Gifu, one of my favorite places I always love going back to is Nagano 🥰 Achi Momohana Village in Nagano is a beautiful spring spot famous for around 10,000 peach blossom trees (momohana) 🌸✨ During full bloom, the hills are covered in shades of pink, red, and white, creating a dreamy, colorful landscape that feels like a living painting 💕 It’s peaceful, scenic, and perfect for nature lovers, especially from late April to early May when the flowers are at their best 🌿🌸 ❣️Achi Village Office (general official address of the area) 📍483 Komaba, Achi-mura, Shimoina-gun, Nagano 395-0303, Japan 🌸 Note: Achi Momohana (peach blossom) spots are spread around the village area (especially Chisato / Hirugami area), so there isn’t one single “entrance” like a park—it’s a scenic area across Achi Village where the peach trees bloom all over the hills. 🏞️🌸✨ #japan #japandiaries #hiddenjapan #japantravel #japannature
Sakura at night really hits different, especially when it’s all lit up. There’s something about the soft glow on the petals that makes everything feel calm, quiet, and a bit emotional. During the day it’s beautiful, but at night it feels more peaceful and almost unreal. The lights make the cherry blossoms look like something out of a dream. People tend to walk a little slower, and the whole place feels more relaxed. It’s not something you really try to explain—you just stand there, take it in, and remember it. 🌸💫 📍Address / Location: Gojo River Riverside 3-1 Shimo-Ichiba Shimo-Honmachi, Iwakura-shi, Aichi 482-0005, Japan 🚊How to get there: About 5-minute walk from Iwakura Station on the Meitetsu Inuyama Line. #japan #japandiaries #hiddenjapan #japantravel #sakura
Just sharing 🥰 While we were strolling among the Sakura at Inuyama Castle 🌸🏯, we discovered a hidden retro café called Bon Muu ☕🍝. The Bolognese spaghetti and purin are next-level 🤤, a low-key gem for anyone who loves cozy Showa vibes 🌸🤗. 📍 Bon Muu Address: 2‑136 Unumakoigicho, Kakamigahara, Gifu 509‑0143, Japan 🇯🇵 #japan #japandiaries #hiddenjapan #japantiktok #aichi
EVENT ENDED ❣️ Please like and share. Your support means a lot. Thank you for your kindness! 🙇🏻♀️🫶🏼 いいねとシェアをお願いします。皆さんの応援が本当に励みになります。ご親切に感謝します!🙇🏻♀️🫶🏼 INUYAMA MATSURI 🏮🇯🇵(Recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage) The customs of the Inuyama Festival have been handed down to the present since the festival's beginning in 1635. With the encouragement of Lord Naruse, a chief retainer of the Owari Tokugawa family and lord of Inuyama Castle, the festival took off as an offering to Haritsuna Jinja Shrine—home of the local guardian deity. Thirteen enormous and elaborately decorated yama parade floats proceed along to the melodies of flutes and drums before offering a mechanized doll performance in a custom carried out since the Edo period. Once night approaches, almost countless lanterns adorn the floats for another spectacle as they light up the blooming cherry trees around the Inuyama Castle Town. The age-old tradition appears as if it has popped right out of an ancient colorful ukiyo-e woodblock print. #japan #japandiaries #japaneseculture #japantravel #japantrip
Ogaki’s Suimon River is a hidden gem 🌸✨ In spring, cherry blossoms line the peaceful riverside paths, perfect for a scenic stroll. You’ll find charming touches of history like old port remains and a lighthouse, plus the chance to ride traditional tarai-bune boats. 🛶💦🇯🇵 Known as part of the “City of Water,” this area reflects Ogaki’s beautiful canals and crystal-clear groundwater 💧 Locals love it as a quiet, everyday escape. 🛶🌸✨ Fun fact 🎥: This riverside even inspired scenes in A Silent Voice! #japandiaries #hiddenjapan #sakura #springinjapan #japantravel
