Gifu is just 1 hour from Nagoya 🇯🇵💕 Did you know Christianity was banned during the Edo period? This quiet town in Gifu was once a hidden refuge where Christians prayed in secret🥹 Places we visited: • Gukeiji Temple — a silent Japanese garden where time feels frozen • Mitake Old Town — empty streets lined with historic wooden houses • Uokuni — local restaurant serving unagi and seasonal regional dishes • La Provence — a charming local café with excellent tea • Oniiwa Onsen Ryozan — traditional ryokan with onsen, sauna, and an unforgettable dinner Can’t wait for tomorrow😊 #japan #japanese #japantravel #japantravels #ryokan
