📍 Hallasan National Park, Jeju Island 🏝️🇰🇷 South Korea’s highest peak 🏔️ Hallasan ( summit : Baengnokdam [1,947 m]) 🗓️23rd July, 2026 Started from Seongpanak (easier on the knees). Solo hike Tokyo → Saitama mountain traverse: 6 peaks, 14+ km, ~1,284 m ascent. 🏔️ 1. Takamizusan / 高水山 (759 m) 2. Iwatakeishiyama / 岩茸石山 (793 m) 3. Gogeyama / 興越山 (~725 m) 4. Sakasagawanomaru / 逆川ノ丸 (~841 m) 5. Kuroyama / 黒山 (842 m) 6. Bonomine / 棒ノ嶺・棒ノ折山 (969 m) 🗓️11th July, 2026🤝 Original plan was to do Bonomine only, but usual route to and fro Shiratanisawa trailhead is kinda doable within 3hrs max, so wasn’t challenging enough so started at Ikusabata station, finished at Shiratanisawa trailhead. It’s recommended to do only Bonomine usual one, if you want to relax only with a great view, other 5 mountains don’t have a viewpoint or they’re overgrown. So it’s just for physical activity🙂‍↕️ Bonomine has a huge Sakura tree at its peak, so highly recommended to go during Sakura season.
