The Kanhizakura (early blooming sakura ) along the banks of the Oyoko River that runs by Kiba Park are also reaching their peak. There aren't many of them, but the low height of the trees allows you to enjoy the cherry blossoms and white-eyes up close. Here, you can also enjoy Kawazu cherry blossoms (another early blooming sakura) after the Kanhizakura. 木場公園に沿って流れる大横川のほとりの寒緋桜も見頃を迎えつつあります。あまりたくさんではありませんが木の高さが低く桜とメジロを近くで楽しむことができます。こちらは寒緋桜の次に河津桜も楽しめます。 #木場公園#寒緋桜#桜

The early-blooming cherry blossoms at Ebara Shrine, the Kanhizakura, are now 80% in bloom. I think the best time to see them will be from this weekend to the beginning of next week. There are lots of Japanese white-eyes and photographers around. 春日大社 Kasuga Taisha Shrine 奈良公園の奥にある神社。768年創建、1135年に現在の場所に本殿が建てられました。社殿は20年に一度、式年造替として新しく建て替えられその回数は60回を超えています。境内には3000基の灯籠があります。鹿は神の使いとして大切に扱われ、奈良公園周辺に1300頭の神鹿が生息しています。 A shrine located at the back of Nara Park. It was founded in 768, and the main shrine was built at its current location in 1135. The shrine building is rebuilt once every 20 years, and has been rebuilt over 60 times. There are 3000 lanterns in the precincts. 京都山科毘沙門堂 Kyoto Yamashina Bishamondo 703年創建、火災等を経て1665年に現在の場所に再建。桜や紅葉の名所として知られています。参道の階段を覆う真っ赤な紅葉が美しいです。 Founded in 703, it was rebuilt at its current location in 1665 after a fire. It is known as a famous spot for cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. 常寂光寺 Jojakkoji Temple 百人一首で有名な小倉山の中腹にあるお寺、藤原定家の山荘があった場所に1596年に作られました。境内全体を埋め尽くす紅葉の名所として知られています。 This temple is located halfway up Mt. Ogura and is famous for Hyakunin Isshu, and was built in 1596 on the site of Fujiwara Teika's mountain villa. 東大寺大仏 The Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple 752年奈良東大寺の本尊として聖武天皇によって建立されました。社会不安を仏法の力によって解消しようとの願いが込められ、その高さは15mにもなります。 The great Buddha was built by Emperor Shomu in 752 as the principal image of Todaiji Temple in Nara.
