#PR 🥩 A hidden Wagyu experience in Roppongi. I had the opportunity to visit @yakiniku_eisho and experience their Kuroge Wagyu course in one of their private rooms. Beautiful cuts of Wagyu, thoughtful preparation, and a much more intimate atmosphere than you normally expect in the middle of Roppongi. What stood out to me was the attention given to each cut — different preparations, textures, and ways of enjoying the beef throughout the course rather than simply putting premium meat on a grill. POV: One of the best kaisendon bowls of my life. 🐟🍚🇯🇵 A huge thank you to @kaisenmeshi for such an incredible meal—this was honestly one of the best kaisendons I’ve ever had. Kaisenmeshi Nakamata is a seafood rice bowl specialty restaurant in Higashi-Ginza, just a 3-minute walk from the station. Their seafood is sourced fresh every morning from Toyosu Market, and the quality is exceptional. I tried the OMAKASE SPECIAL, topped with all of their best ingredients, for ¥6,480 (tax included). Kaisendon bowls start from ¥1,980, with optional additions including Yamayuki tuna, botan shrimp, and blackthroat seaperch. The first floor has counter seating, while the second floor offers table seating in a beautifully renovated space with traditional Japanese design overlooking a small courtyard garden. POV: Two Japanese kids take me to their favorite burger shop in Japan. 🍔🇯🇵 I met these two kids in Ashiya, and they took me to Gui’s Burger, a little Wagyu burger shop that turned out to be something special. Gui’s Burger was ranked No. 7 in the world by Burgerdudes in 2026, making it the only burger restaurant from Asia on their Top 25 list! 🏆 I went for the double Wagyu Bacon Burger, with everything on it. It was absolutely delicious. Beautiful Japanese Wagyu, packed with flavor, and thin, crispy fries served piping hot. Exactly how I like them! 🥩🍟 But the best part of the day was sharing the experience with two new friends. Wagyu BBQ in Japan… 🇯🇵🥩 Made low and slow. 🔥 I stopped by @slice_of_life_bbq to try some seriously tender Japanese beef. The Kokusan Beef Ribs Bento are smoked low and slow for 10–12 hours until the meat is unbelievably tender. 🥩🔥 They also have an A5 Wagyu Brisket Bento made with Minemura Wagyu from Nagano Prefecture, served with rice and sides. 🇯🇵🍱 Everything is made in limited amounts, so what’s available can change each day. 📍 Only a 10-minute walk from Harajuku Station 4 Chome-21-13 Jingumae, Shibuya, Tokyo If you’re in Harajuku and craving Japanese beef, this is definitely one to add to your list. 🥩🇯🇵 #Wagyu #WagyuBBQ #TokyoFood #HarajukuFood

POV: You might have just found the best burger in Japan. 🍔🇯🇵 I finally made it to @meetyourwagyu in Hyogo, and now I understand the hype. Gui’s Burger was ranked #7 in the World’s 25 Best Burgers 2026 — and was the only burger restaurant selected from Japan and all of Asia. I went straight for their signature Wagyu Bacon Burger — double, of course. 🥩😂 The Wagyu was rich, juicy, and full of flavor, but I need to talk about the fries. Thin. Hot. Crispy. Fried in Wagyu fat. Exactly how I like them. Honestly, some of the best fries I’ve had anywhere. 🍟🔥 What I love even more is the idea behind the restaurant: every burger connects you back to the farmer who raised the Wagyu. It’s not just “Wagyu” slapped onto a burger — they actually care about where the beef comes from. Huge love to @humansofwagyu and @meetyourwagyu. If you go, tell them Ali sent you. POV: Having sushi with one of the funniest chefs in Japan. 🍣😂🇯🇵 One thing I love about learning Japanese is how one small sound can completely change the meaning of a word. The chef asked me if I knew the difference between natsu (夏) and nasu (茄子). Natsu means summer. ☀️ Nasu means eggplant. 🍆 Just one syllable, completely different meanings. Then he hit me with my favorite joke of the night… “Nigiri-cation.” 🍣🤝 It’s a play on nomunication (飲みニケーション)—a Japanese term combining nomu (“to drink”) and communication, describing how people build relationships over food and drinks after work. His version? That sharing nigiri brings people together just as well.
