Jiufen in Taiwan has been on my bucket-list for years and I finally went🇹🇼✨ The town is actually very old but it became more popular in recent years for being labelled the ‘Spirited Away Town’🥺 Many people believe that Hayao Miyazaki based the town/ bathhouse in Spirited Away off of this town! This is unconfirmed but after visiting the town I can definitely see why people think this. I genuinely felt like I was stepping into the world of Studio Ghibli and it was so pretty😭 We got tea at one of the tea houses and I also got to try the taro balls which were delicious!😌 It also started raining which added to the Ghibli vibe heheh☔️ The town is only a 1 hour drive away from Taipei so definitely check it out if you visit Taiwan⭐️ SHARE with someone you want to visit with!🥰 #studioghibli #anime #spiritedaway #taiwan #jiufen
