Opened just a year ago, it was on my list for some time! I’ve visited many places over the years, but these are stuck on my mind, every time someone asks me about “beautiful places” in Japan, this is what I think about 🙌 1. Echizen Daibutsu in Fukui: this is actually my favorite absolute prefecture. It’s right in the middle between Kyoto and Kanazawa. So much to see, and this temple definitely stands out 😍 2. Mt. Omuro in Shizuoka: it’s a bit harder getting here with just public transportation so you can either rent a car or book a tour. It’s quite difficult to get here, you will need a car and the way to it is very narrow. If you’re thinking of going please be careful! These are my favorite spots in Japan, but there are so many! Who would like to zip-line directly in the mouth of Godzilla? 😆 This is one of the coolest theme parks close to Osaka, it’s called “Nijigen no Mori” and it’s located in Awaji Island. The “NARUTO×BORUTO FUJI HIDDEN VILLAGE OF KONOHA” at Nijigen no Mori in Awaji Island is one of my favorite activities to do here 🥷 You can get there by bus from Osaka, just be careful of the timetables, or you can also rent a car 🚗 all the way there! This is a limited-time themed pop-up cafe located on the 8th floor of Lumine Est Shinjuku at BOX cafe&space, celebrating the anime’s 5th anniversary! 😆 It’s open until September 27th! The Gojo (Prison Realm) Tiramisu was great, though it felt more like a chocolate parfait than a traditional tiramisu! 😂 The Panda French Toast was decent, and the ice cream definitely helped since the toast was a bit dry on its own. I chose my drink based on my flavor preferences rather than my favorite character. I originally wanted Gojo’s drink, but I’m not a big fan of soda (especially Ramune), so I went with Itadori’s peach drink instead! Like the Attack on Titan cafe or other themed pop-ups, the prices are a bit steep and the food quality isn’t amazing. Still, I’m really glad I went, the Gojo tiramisu was super cool and delicious! 🤤 #JujutsuKaisen #Cafe in #tokyo

This food court is right under the Umeda Sky Building and it’s called “Takimikoji (滝見小路)”. It’s a detailed recreation of an early 1920s Showa-era Japanese street: vintage street signs, antique posters, a classic pump well, and retro storefronts. 🏮 It’s packed with local eateries serving everything from authentic Osaka okonomiyaki and crispy tonkatsu to steaming bowls of ramen. It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite right before or after hitting the Kuchu Teien Observatory upstairs! 📍B1 Floor, Umeda Sky Building, Osaka

Mikimoto Pearl Island is such a precious place in Toba Bay, Mie Prefecture, just a 5-minute walk across a pedestrian bridge from JR or Kintetsu Toba Station. Toba is two hours by train from Osaka! It is world-famous as the birthplace of cultured pearls, where Kokichi Mikimoto successfully harvested the world's first hemispherical pearl in 1893, revolutionizing the luxury jewelry industry and turning pearls into a globally accessible treasure. 🙌 Visiting the island costs ¥1,650 for adults and ¥820 for children (6–15 years old), with general opening hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A complete visit takes around 1.5 to 2.5 hours. And not only is it very interesting and educational, it’s so fun! 🥰 During your time on the island, you can watch live hourly demonstrations by traditional Ama (free-diving women) dressed in classic white cotton garbs (isogi), demonstrating the historic diving techniques and distinct sea whistles (isobue) used to collect oysters. A tradition that unfortunately is drying because the number of Ama divers decreases so much during the years… but we can still support them in many ways! Beyond the dives, you can explore the Pearl Museum to see antique jewelry and elaborate pearl art pieces, tour the Kokichi Mikimoto Memorial Hall to learn about the founder's life, and stop by the Ryujin Shrine on the wooded hill to pray to the sea dragon deity for good fortune in relationships. 🥰

This is Sansuien, a hidden gem ryokan in the historic Yuda Onsen district of Yamaguchi. Built in 1936, this breathtaking property is so architecturally and historically significant that it’s registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property! 🙌 Not only is the architecture like walking through a living museum, but it actually hosted Emperor Showa(Hirohito) and the Empress back in 1956 and 1963. They stayed in the “Kiri” and “Matsu” rooms! This is a popular patisserie chain around Osaka. Not only does it have the cutest cat-themed pastries, but also the shops have amazing decorations! 😆 What does this replicate? Hipopopapa is a pretty cafe in Akashi, Hyogo, known for its aquarium restroom and peaceful beach views. 🐠 It reportedly cost around 30 million yen (roughly $200k-$270k USD) to build that specific restroom. 👀 The aquarium toilet is only in the ladies restroom for privacy reasons, but men can usually ask the staff to see it if no one is using it! 🙌 📍 Hipopopapa, 60 Matsue, Akashi, Hyogo 🕒 Open daily 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM 💴 It’s a cash-only spot, so come prepared! ☕️ They value a quiet atmosphere, so it’s perfect for a relaxing coffee with a view. 🚊 Get to Hayashisakimatsuekaigan station (Hanshin line) and walk 5-10 minutes to get there! Let’s start with the fact I’m not a huge fan of cup noodles to begin with 😆 I don’t think it’s bad, but just in general it doesn’t really taste like famichiki, maybe it smells like it. I didn’t show it in the video but I put the little pack on top inside, it was famichiki oil ahah 😆 overall it’s very oily, like famichiki, but I wouldn’t eat it again. Again, I’m not a cup noodle eater in general 🍜 I had tried the chips last year, and they were fine! I could taste the famichiki a bit. I’ll have to try the spicy ones! Saitama is home to the world’s largest rice paddy art, and this year’s theme is Minecraft! You can see it best from the 50m observation deck at Ancient Lotus Park and the entrance ticket is around 500 ( I can’t remember if it was 400 or 600 and I went yesterday ahah want a memory 😀😂) 📍 行田市田んぼアート Gyoda Rice Paddy Art I would have loved to come last year as well, they had the coolest art of all: Demon Slayer! 😍

Osaka has its own “Romeo and Juliet” shrine and it’s in the heart of Umeda: Tsuyuno Tenjinsha, better known as Ohatsu Tenjin. ⛩️ In 1703, two star-crossed lovers, Ohatsu and Tokubei, chose to stay together forever in the afterlife by committing suicide on these very grounds. Their tragic but pure devotion turned this shrine into Japan’s ultimate destination for true love and matchmaking. 👩‍❤️‍👨 Don’t miss: ✨ The Business Power Spot: While famous for romance, it’s a massive spot for entrepreneurs! I’d suggest checking the website before visiting to make sure they have it (if you wanna go especially for that one). And admission only costs 400 yen!!! 😳 The Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum in Koganei Park is an open-air museum that will bring you back in time as it features 30 historical buildings that were relocated and restored to preserve Japan’s architectural heritage. 🥰 For Ghibli fans, this is amazing 🤩 You can walk through the grand Kodakara-yu bathhouse, which helped shape the design of the iconic Aburaya ♨️ but the whole place in general really feels like stepping into Spirited Away! In fact Hayao Miyazaki is a frequent visitor to this museum and has even stated that he felt “nostalgic” walking through it while developing the world of Spirited Away. 🙌 📍 The museum is located in the western suburbs of Tokyo, 3-7-1 Sakuracho, Koganei-shi, inside Koganei Park. • Admission: 400 yen (Adults) • Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Closes at 4:30 PM from October to March) • Closed: Mondays (If Monday is a holiday, it closes Tuesday) #tokyo #museum

Right by the ocean in Toba, Mie prefecture, this brand-new Pokémon-themed park is the perfect spot for fans and families! 😍 The highlight is a 10-meter-high Oshawott tower with slides, nets, swings: kids love it! Oshawott became Mie’s official ambassador Pokémon because its seashell “scalchop” reflects Mie’s rich ocean culture, from oysters to pearls, and its name even echoes “Mie.” That’s why you’ll find Oshawott all around the prefecture: themed parks, Poké-Lid manholes, and even wrapped buses and boats. 🥰 ✨ And did you know? There are two Oshawott Parks in Mie, one here in Toba and another in Suzuka, each with different Oshawott-themed playground equipment. This is Nagoro, a remote small village known as Kakashi no Sato, or the Scarecrow Village. 🙌 Today, the village has fewer than thirty human residents and they are vastly outnumbered by nearly four hundred life-sized, hand-crafted puppets that occupy every corner of the town, outnumbering the living ten to one! 👀 Back in 2002 a local woman named Tsukimi Ayano returned to Nagoro to care of her aging father. She found her childhood home drastically changed.. lonely, fading, and hollowed out as younger generations left for major cities and older neighbors passed away. Missing the vibrant community she once knew, Ayano-san originally built just a single scarecrow dressed in her father’s old clothes to keep birds out of her vegetable garden. 🌾 Realizing how much comfort and a sense of life that single figure brought back to the quiet roadside, Ayano-san began a lifelong mission to repopulate the village. 🧵For over two decades, she has hand-crafted hundreds of unique dolls, meticulously registering each one with a name, age, and distinct backstory.
