After the last 12 years and 3 exchanges abroad in Japan, I've been to pretty much everywhere you can go in Tokyo.  You'd have to bribe me to hit Tokyo Tower for the 7th time. 1989 versus 2024. My dream was her dream ❤️ I often think about how I would never be here if it wasn’t for growing up fascinated by my mom’s experience in Osaka in her 20’s, if she’d never taught me random Japanese words growing up, if we’d never had old Japanese textbooks and CDs and handmade Yukata lying around the house. Her experience ten years before I was born is what set the path for my entire life. Celebrated 7 years in Japan year, and it was all possible because of my mom’s 1 year exchange.
