Punch-kun now has his very own train! 🐒🚆💕 Starting July 16, a special train covered with photos of Punch-kun from Ichikawa City Zoo began operating on the Hokuso Railway Line. Both the exterior and the inside of the train are filled with adorable photos of him! The fifth carriage from the front when travelling outbound is the special Punch-kun carriage. The train may also continue through to destinations in Tokyo and Kanagawa. It is scheduled to run only until the end of February next year, so when I visit in December, I would love to ride it as a special memory. 🥹 I’ll need to check the train’s operating schedule in advance. My plan is: Catch the train from Keisei-Takasago Station if the timing works Get off at Omachi Station Take a taxi to Ichikawa City Zoo, since walking takes around 20 minutes There are several services throughout the day, so hopefully I’ll be lucky enough to ride the Punch-kun train!
