You and Pepper filled our home with happiness, laughter, and countless beautiful memories. You were never “just a dog but you were family. For almost 14 years, you were there through every stage of my children’s lives. You watched them grow from little kids into young adults. You greeted them after school, stayed beside them when they were sad, and celebrated their happiest moments with a wagging tail and loving eyes. You were their playmate, protector, and best friend. So many of our family memories include you running around the house, waiting patiently for treats, and giving unconditional love every single day. Your loyalty never faded. No matter what kind of day we had, you were always there to comfort us and remind us what pure love looks like. You taught my children kindness, responsibility, compassion, and the meaning of unconditional love. During our Professional Development (PD) Day, we had the opportunity to visit Harumi Port Park, and it was a refreshing experience away from our usual school routine. Surrounded by beautiful waterfront views, the park offered a peaceful atmosphere where we could relax, reflect, and enjoy quality time with colleagues. One of the highlights of the park is its open green spaces and scenic walking paths overlooking Tokyo Bay. The fresh air, calm surroundings, and stunning views of the city skyline made it a perfect place to recharge. As teachers, spending time in a relaxing environment like this helped us reconnect, share ideas, and appreciate the importance of selfcare and teamwork. The park is also a wonderful spot for photography, with plenty of picturesque areas and waterfront scenery. Whether you’re visiting for a quiet walk, a picnic, or simply to enjoy nature, Harumi Port Park provides a welcome escape from the busy city. Our PD Day became even more memorable because of this visit. It reminded us that learning and growth can happen both inside and outside the classroom. I highly recommend Harumi Port Park to anyone looking for a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy Tokyo’s beautiful waterfront.

We visited on a weekend evening and enjoyed a relaxing meal before heading out to explore the city. The atmosphere inside Porta was lively and welcoming, filled with shoppers, travelers, and families enjoying their day. As evening approached, we walked around the Minato Mirai area and were amazed by the beautiful city lights. The illuminated Ferris wheel, sparkling waterfront, and stunning skyline created a romantic and unforgettable scene. What made the experience special was not only the delicious food but also the wonderful ambience of Yokohama at night. The combination of great dining, beautiful views, and quality time together made it an unforgettable weekend memory. Today, I visited the beautiful Shinjuku Chuo Park light-up with my travel buddy, my little sister, and it became another memorable Tokyo night for us. The park was filled with beautiful lights that made the whole place feel peaceful, cozy, and magical. Even though Shinjuku is known for being busy and crowded, the park gave us a relaxing escape from the city noise. We enjoyed walking around while admiring the illuminated trees and pathways.
