I lived in Tokyo for nearly 5 years (before I became a mom) and know my way around the city pretty well, but even so, I find getting around Tokyo with a toddler incredibly difficult. If you’re planning a trip to Japan with a toddler, some other places I’ve visited and would recommend are Fukuoka, Nara, Kobe, Matsumoto, Hakuba, Kurashiki and/or Miyazaki! Of course, this is just based on my personal experience, but I’d be interested to hear about your experience visiting Japan with a toddler 🇯🇵

my japan summer essentials for kids 🇯🇵☀️ the humid summers in japan bring lots of mosquitos!! now that it’s starting to get a little cooler in the evening, it’s been nice to hit the parks again but I made the mistake of not taking my insect repellent with me… and now I’m covered in mosquito bites 😭 if the mosquitoes have gotten you too, muhi patches offer active relief to stop itching!! #lifeinjapan #japan
