The Shibatas

Ghost of Yōtei Battle Theme No.3 (Full Track / Alternate Take) The Creative Director at Sucker Punch Productions came across my shamisen performance on social media, which led to a collaboration through Sony Interactive Entertainment late last year — I was commissioned to compose and record five battle themes for Ghost of Yōtei. It’s truly an honor to have been part of such an incredible PlayStation title. Thank you so much for the opportunity! The tracks I composed aren’t included in the official soundtrack — they can only be heard during in-game battle scenes. Make sure to experience them while playing Ghost of Yōtei! 🎮🪕 It’s a traditional Japanese instrument called shamisen. It has only three strings.
